Off in the distance they can see a couple riders, moving like hell's on their heels to try and catch up to the faster and more mobile fliers.

"My preference would have not have been to burn thousands of innocents as you claim. I would prefer to spare life rather than take it." replied Aegon. "I would suggest that there would have been far less loss of life under my rule than what was lost by these Children resisting it."
He scanned the surroundings before continuing, noting the arrival of the newcomers, who in Aegon's estimation were unlikely to be friendly. Balerion stirred, as if bored by the talk, his wings stretching as if to give Aegon a hint that it was time to fly.
"Who is worse my lord Artys?" Aegon continued. "These Children who would slay hundreds of thousands at a mere whim, because their preference as to who would be their lord was not to their liking, or someone like myself who would spare life where he could. Where do these Children of the Forest rule now? Themselves? Or do they acknowledge this Brandon Reed as their lord?"

The King of the Vale resisted a very strong urge to punch Aegon's teeth down his throat for calling him Lord Artys.
"Reed is a friend, a dear one; our alliance is an accord of two parts. And so are the Children, they have done a lot for my family and me." Artys didn't know exactly about the relation between Reed and the Children, so he wouldn't talk about that. "The Children did their best to protect their homeland and it's people, not as a foreigner who meant to fulfill his desires of conquest and power."
"Again, this is a summit of peace, you are welcome to join us." He stated. "I'll vouch for you, as long as you keep the dragon away."
[Persuasion:4]
He scanned the incoming men, knowing not what to make out of it.
"They won't touch you, Aegon Targaryen. I swear by the Old Gods and the New."

Aegon can see the point of Arryn's talks of peace. And reason holds that if Aegon goes to the meeting under a banner of peace he won't be harmed.
By now the group of people are within shouting range. Aegon can count 8 in all, as well as one very tired mammoth and a couple of direwolves.

"A foreigner? My family have been on Dragonstone for one hundred and thirty years." replied Aegon to Artys. "Argilac cut off the hands of my envoy after he asked me for an alliance against Harren the Black. It was the lords of Westeros that involved me in their petty affairs. I sought to unite them and bring peace to their lands."
Aegon scanned the approaching newcomers.
"I shall have no choice but to unleash Balerion if they attack." he warned Artys with almost an air of resignation. "I didn't come here to kill."

"I will fuck your skull, dragon man!!! FOR THE OLD GOOOOOODS!!!!" Mortifer bellowed with a terrifying yawp, spittle flying from his mouth upon witnessing the silver-haired sissy boy atop the black monstrosity. He unsheathed his Valyrian steel longaxe and hefted his massive tower shield, his mammoth Jotun thundering forward as his pair of snarling pony-sized wolves flanked.
(I'd post my benefits and stats, but there are just too many.) (Intimidation roll to delay any attempts to retreat, as he is hopefully too busy shitting his pants to make a logical decision with a living nightmare charging towards him. My persuasion tests for intimidate are rolled at 6d taking all my benefits and drawbacks into account)

Aegon can't help but let out a little shriek and involuntarily moves backwards in his saddle at the loud man yelling at him. Balerion is a little less unfazed, but even he has never seen a man nearly three times the size of a horse yelling at him before and he is reminded of his youth hundreds of years ago when he was nipped at by his mamma.

Auron carried a spear, but focused on commanding his five archers on horseback. "Prepare your shots! Aim for the rider! Fire on my will! And... FIRE!!"
Auron left it to historians to invent a proper battle speech later.

Dorran Stark pulls up alongside King Arryn, "I'll give it a few minutes before I try and reign in the big fella, if you can manage to hold off the Prince and his men. Hopefully Aegon survives that long."

Taking advantage of the shocked inaction of the dragon and rider, Mortifer used the height afforded by his mammoth and his own herculean strength to leap from Jotun's back to Baerion's, bringing his axe down in a vicious vertical arc.
Athletics 5d (strength 5b)
Alright here are all my fighting calculations: Agility 5 (Reroll 1s on Agility tests when determining Initiative)
Full Plate: 22 AR from Armor Mastery 2 and Unique Perk CD: 23 from taking into account armor penalty and Tower Shield (so immune to the Long Blade Fighting 3 Benefit) with Annointed benefit and Shield Mastery 2. 25 for first round because of Sinister. Health: 20 Fighting: 7 (5b Axes) [3 Animal Companions allow 3 wounds before this drops below 7] Axe Fighter III: +5 to Fighting test results Icebreaker: 17 Base Damage, Reach, Vicious. If Mortifer attains at least two degrees of success over an opponent, a wound is immediately dealt (possible to deal 2 wounds a round)

Artys nodded, going for his sword on the sand; being clad in no more than wool, he had little chance against in a fight.
"Prince Auron, I gave this man my word that he would not come to harm. Stay your weapons." He said circling Martell and his men, this was very smart decision, but an Arryn kept his promises.

The Jump of Faith..
Mortifer gathers up his strength and flings himself off the top of his mammoth lunging towards Balerion. The gap from the mammoth to the dragon is great, but mortifer has leaped things like that before and makes the trip in short time. Unfortunately for him Balerion recovers in time and lifts his wing up as a wall separating Mortifer from his rider.
Mortifer collides with the wing, his axe missing the top of the dragons wing and hooking itself on the top of the wing avoiding any extreme damage to the wing itself. Meanwhile Mortifer is using his immense strength to hold on to the wing.
